View to the Sky

A competition workshop for a private residence in suburban London, Studio ii drew inspiration from the modernist pavilion designs of the early 20th century.

 

The design boasts an impressive double height interior space, and an external courtyard with a square shaped cut out in the roof. This frames the sky beautifully as you sit beneath the canopy. Picture perfect.
